Once you have carried out your audit preparations, you will be ready for the audit you have scheduled with your Certification Body.
For your first audit, the auditor will visit your premises in-person and carry out the audit as per the agreed audit schedule. It is important that all of your necessary team members are present at the audit, so that they can talk the auditor through their relevant systems for managing the RSB requirements.
Your auditor will summarise at the end of your audit any non-compliances found.
- Major non-compliances have 90 days to be corrected, and your certificate cannot be issued until these are corrected, and then evaluated and closed by your auditor.
- Minor non-compliances have 12 months to be addressed and do not prohibit your certificate from being issued.
